Penalty points and prohibitions: driver improvement
ICBC's driving guide: Your licence
The Driver Improvement Program is run by RoadSafetyBC. Every driving offence entered on a record is reviewed under its guidelines, case by case. A driver who keeps driving unsafely may get a warning letter, may be placed on probation — with a prohibition following further offences during it — and, if offences accumulate rapidly, may be prohibited without any previous warning.
